Amar, mesmo quando é difícil

O desafio de amar surge quando o amor exige mais do que sentimentos: quando pede decisão e paciência.
Amar, mesmo quando é difícil, é permanecer aberto quando a vontade é fechar-se e isolar-se do mundo; é escutar quando o cansaço aparece; é perdoar não porque o outro merece, mas porque o amor liberta quem perdoa.
Há dias em que amar significa silêncio respeitoso. Em outros, firmeza serena. Às vezes, amar é dar um passo atrás para não ferir; outras vezes, é dar um passo à frente para não abandonar.
Amar assim aproxima-nos do coração de Deus, que ama sem condições, sem cálculos, sem desistências.
Quando escolhemos amar apesar da dificuldade, tornamo-nos sinais vivos de esperança num mundo tantas vezes marcado pela indiferença.

Lieben, auch wenn es schwierig ist

Die Herausforderung zu lieben ist gegeben, wenn Liebe mehr als nur Gefühle erfordert: wenn sie Entschlossenheit und Geduld verlangt.

Lieben, auch wenn es schwerfällt, bedeutet, offen zu bleiben, wenn man sich am liebsten verschließen und von der Welt abschotten möchte; es bedeutet, zuzuhören, wenn man müde ist; zu vergeben, nicht weil der andere es verdient, sondern weil die Liebe denjenigen befreit, der vergibt.

Es gibt Tage, an denen Lieben respektvolle Stille bedeutet. An anderen Tagen bedeutet es ruhige Entschlossenheit. Manchmal bedeutet Lieben, einen Schritt zurückzutreten, um nicht zu verletzen; oder einen Schritt vorwärts zu gehen, um nicht aufzugeben.

So zu lieben bringt uns dem Herzen Gottes näher, der bedingungslos liebt, ohne zu berechnen, ohne aufzugeben.

Wenn wir uns trotz der Schwierigkeiten dafür entscheiden zu lieben, werden wir zu lebendigen Zeichen der Hoffnung in einer Welt, die so oft von Gleichgültigkeit geprägt ist.

 

AMAR TAMBIÉN CUANDO SEA DIFÍCIL

El desafío de amar surge cuando el amor exige más que sentimientos: cuando exige decisión y paciencia.
Amar, incluso cuando es difícil, es permanecer abierto cuando la voluntad es cerrarse y aislarse del mundo; es escuchar cuando el cansancio aparece ; es perdonar no porque el otro lo merezca, sino porque el amor libera a quien perdona.
Hay días en que amar significa silencio respetuoso. En otros, firmeza serena. A veces, amar es dar un paso atrás para no herir; otras veces, es dar un paso adelante para no abandonar.
Amar así nos acerca al corazón de Dios, que ama incondicionalmente, sin cálculos, sin rendirse.
Cuando elegimos amar a pesar de la dificultad, nos convertimos en signos vivos de esperanza en un mundo tan a menudo marcado por la indiferencia.

LOVE, EVEN WHEN IT’S HARD

The challenge of loving arises when love demands more than feelings: when it asks for decision and patience.
To love, even when it is difficult, is to remain open when the desire is to close yourself off and isolate yourself from the world; it is listening when fatigue appears; it is to forgive not because the other deserves it, but because love liberates the one who forgives.
There are days when love means respectful silence. In others, serene firmness. Sometimes, to love is to take a step back so as not to hurt; other times, it is to take a step forward so as not to abandon.
Loving in this way brings us closer to the heart of God, who loves without conditions, without calculations, without giving up.
When we choose to love despite the difficulty, we become living signs of hope in a world so often marked by indifference.

Amare anche quando è difficile

La sfida dell’amore emerge quando esso richiede più dei sentimenti: quando richiede decisione e pazienza.
Amare, anche quando è difficile, significa rimanere aperti quando si vorrebbe chiudersi e isolarsi dal mondo; significa ascoltare quando si manifesta la stanchezza; significa perdonare non perché l’altro lo meriti, ma perché l’amore libera chi perdona.
Ci sono giorni in cui amare significa silenzio rispettoso. In altri, fermezza serena. A volte amare è fare un passo indietro per non ferire; altre volte è fare un passo avanti per non abbandonare.
Amare così ci avvicina al cuore di Dio, che ama senza condizioni, senza calcoli, senza rinunce.
Quando scegliamo di amare nonostante le difficoltà, diventiamo segni viventi di speranza in un mondo spesso segnato dall’indifferenza.

Aimer même quand c’est difficile

Le défi d’aimer surgit lorsque l’amour exige plus que des sentiments : lorsqu’il demande de la détermination et de la patience.
Aimer, même lorsque c’est difficile, c’est rester ouvert alors que l’on a envie de se fermer et de s’isoler du monde ; c’est écouter lorsque la fatigue se fait sentir ; c’est pardonner non pas parce que l’autre le mérite, mais parce que l’amour libère celui qui pardonne.
Il y a des jours où aimer signifie silence respectueux. D’autres jours, c’est une fermeté sereine. Parfois, aimer, c’est faire un pas en arrière pour ne pas blesser ; d’autres fois, c’est faire un pas en avant pour ne pas abandonner.
Aimer ainsi nous rapproche du cœur de Dieu, qui aime sans conditions, sans calculs, sans renoncements.
Lorsque nous choisissons d’aimer malgré les difficultés, nous devenons des signes vivants d’espoir dans un monde si souvent marqué par l’indifférence.

MIŁUJMY TAKŻE WTEDY, KIEDY JEST TRUDNO

Miłość stawia nam wyzwania, kiedy wymaga od nas więcej niż zaangażowania tylko uczuć: kiedy wymaga determinacji i cierpliwości.

Miłować także wtedy, kiedy jest trudno, to być otwartym, gdy chciałoby się zamknąć i odizolować od świata; to słuchać uważnie, chociaż pojawia się zmęczenie; to wybaczać nie dlatego, że ktoś na to zasługuje, ale dlatego, że miłość czyni wolnym tego, kto wybacza.

Są dni, w których miłością jest pełne szacunku milczenie. Kiedy indziej jest nią spokojna stanowczość. Czasami miłość wymaga, by cofnąć się o krok, aby kogoś nie zranić; innym razem zrobić krok do przodu, aby kogoś nie opuścić.

Tak różne formy miłości zbliżają nas do serca Boga, który miłuje bezwarunkowo, bez wyrachowania i bezustannie.

Kiedy postanawiamy miłować mimo trudności, stajemy się żywymi znakami nadziei w świecie w dużym stopniu opanowanym przez obojętność.
